Great value! The staff is very helpful and courteous. The room was very clean. They are dog friendly. I recommend them and will stay there again when I return.
Great value. Tile floors that feel clean, firm beds, perfectly functional sink, shower, and toilet. Sam, the innkeeper, oozes hospitality and niceness. The place feels amazingly safe. The only drawback is the train track on the south side of the hotel ... but it is the same train track that runs alongside every other hotel in Alpine, so no biggie. Sam also recommended some terrific Tex-Mex food.
Rooms were very clean and the front desk staff have a way of welcoming you and making you feel at home. Nice and friendly small-town feel. Won't be staying anywhere else from here on out. Nothing less than outstanding!!
We drove up here to visit Big Bend National Park and decided to stay here after reading reviews from my fellow reviewers. It was well worth the stay! The front desk staff are genuinely very nice people. The rooms were VERY clean and the hotel had all the amenities you could ask for. The walk-in shower looked liked it had been recently remodeled and was more than perfect after a long cold day hiking the mountains. I wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else on my return trip.
The owner was wonderful. We had a great experience there. When all the other hotels in the town were either booked or had owners that are extremely rude towards women. He was so sweet and kind. I will always go there when I go to Alpine. No where else.
